Spoiled Gamers

Is it just me or do gamers today seem to complain about every aspect of a game about to come out and only after they own it will concede that it is good? Or are gamers today just spoiled by the massive amounts of good games on the market? I have been doing a lot of digging on some upcoming titles (infamous, Killzone 2, Lord of the Rings conquest) and the comments and forums on the videos all seem to be bitching and nitpicking about something as small and insignificant as a bad texture or something. it seems to me that they should hold their uncalled for and unneeded judgement until THEY THEMSELVES have played the game or a demo and realize that no one really gives a **BLEEP** how crappy they think the game looks. (especially the GameTrailers forums, by god do those people like ANYTHING?) These forums are pretty good about fair criticism so don't think these comments are leveled at you
