Official " Analyze Modern Warfare 2's teaser" thread.

Okay guys, you've all heard of* Modern Warfare 2 by now. The new game coming out in November being made by Infinity Ward. Whether Infinity Ward is counting it in the series or it's just a sequel to COD4 remains unclear to me.

Now, Infinity ward sent us a dare. They said" Analyze the new teaser". I don't know about you guys, but I was thinking " WTF?!Isn't the point of the trailer is that it's supposed to be easy to follow?"Well, despite my confusion and for my curiosity, I checked it out.

The tools they give you to analyze are pretty simple. A timeline to jump to positions, and a cursor to enlarge certain spots. This is what I learned from the video:

1. Part of the game is taking place in America. When the video first starts, you here a woman voice saying" All passengers" in an american accent.

2.The people who open fire in the airport are Russian.But I did hear the bald headed guy say something like" Remember, your russian"

3. Once they get into the elevator, airport screens flash by for a second. I paused it and found letters written on one of the signs. But they were mixed up, like you had to decode it or something.

4. Another thing I noticed. Towards the end of the video, right before they open fire, there is a sign with a big arrow pointing down. No doubt directions to the lower floors. But then I saw 4 signs next to it. The first sign really pulled me in. It was a shield with bullets hitting it. Sound familiar? It should. It's the sign for the perk "Stopping Power" in the previous game. The other 3 signs confused me. One looked like a boot with a flame coming out the back. Maybe a perk for faster running? The next one looked like two crossing swords. I have no idea what that could symbolize. And the last one is a diamond-shaped object over a hole in the ground.I have no idea for this one either.

5.Next. Part of the game will take place on the water, like the second level in COD4, When all hell breaks loose in the video, in one of the slides in the upper left hand corner, there are 3 ships.

6. The chaos at the end shows the airport from the outside. It looks like an invasion of the airport. But what could be in there that's so important? Could the cargo on the planes have something to do with it?
