Post Good Idea About COD Perks

My friend had a great idea about Juggernaut and Stopping Power for COD. Personally, I see them as perks to get a new COD player started and not get completely dominated in multiplayer, but there should be a limit.

*

Here is what my friend said:

*

"I was curious as to whether or not I'm the only one who thinks these two perks are training wheel perks.

****

**** Honestly, I'm just disgusted with these two perks, stopping power more so than juggernaut. No, I'm not a hypocrite, I don't use either of these perks because I've seen the literal ridiculousness of these perks. Sniped across the map with Thompsons, machine gun's spraying and praying into buildings with deep impact, two shots compared to my five,*surviving point blank shotgun blasts, EVERY sniper using stopping power (even for .50 cals or PTRS),*these things really get on my nerves. What makes it more annoying is that I think that at least 12/16 people are using stopping power in a game. Here's what I think needs to happen:

****

**** 1) Remove them. The most drastic of my solutions. Levels every one to the gun's and skill deciding the outcome. Honestly not my favorite solution because it is a little drastic on the newer players who need the extra aid.

*

**** 2) Tone down their effects. Stopping power could stand to have it's damage increase halved. As for juggernaut, take some health off, and maybe make it a bullet proof vest, like the flak jacket for explosives.

****

**** 3) Make it more costly to use these perks. Maybe they should have a fourth set of perks that require more than one of the three basic perk slots. Kind of like some of the attachments taking perk slots. This puts some restraints on players. Example: If stopping power would take up the red perk slot and the green perk slot, preventing stopping power/deep impact combo.

****

**** 4) Limit their usage. This is my personal favorite. These perks should only be available to a certain level.*This way, newer gamers can get a grace period*until they can hold their own without them. Also, this prevents experienced*players from completely being overpowering. It helps balance the game so skill still has some meaning,*and I wouldn't have to watch a guy on killcam aim at my*foot with a stopping power PTRS.
