Rift Sees Improved Starting Areas [Rift: Planes of Telara]

Senior Community Manager Cindy "Abigale" Bowens recently discussed changes to the starting zones and character creation for the upcoming game Rift: Planes of Telara. According to Abigale, not only have the starting areas for both factions been revamped, but the character creation of the game has become more detailed. Players can look forward to substantial customization options when creating their avatars.

The beginning zones for both the Guardians and the Defiant have been overhauled to help give players the full background and storyline of the game while still being fun to play. Abigale says, "I was put into exciting situations from the start. I did not feel like it was a tutorial, even though I was being led through adventures that were setting me up for what to expect as I level up in the game."

Players can hopefully look forward to experiencing all of the changes for themselves by signing up for a beta key on the offical Rift site.
