SWTOR's First Game Update: Rise of the Rakghouls [Star Wars: The Old Republic]

BioWare has just unveiled their first game update, Rise of the Rakghouls, for Star Wars: The Old Republic. Launching on Tuesday, January 17, Rise of the Rakghouls will be bringing in new, higher level group content, a pile of new game feature additions and a bevy of bug fixes and balance changes. One can only hope that Hard Mode Flashpoints, like The Foundry and Boarding Party, will be fixed as well.

The two meaty pieces of content coming in SWTOR's patch 1.1 is the new level 50 flashpoint, Kaon Under Siege and the new operation, Karagga's Palace. In Kaon Under Siege, players will travel to Kaon, a planet in the Tion Hegemony, where they must battle an outbreak of Rakghouls. In Karagga's Palace, players will take on the Hutt Cartel to confront Karagga to get some phat loot determine Karagga's intentions for the galactic war.
