NVIDIA Technology Drives Earth-Shattering Visual Effects in Blockbuster Hit “2012”

SANTA CLARA, Calif.—Nov. 16, 2009—NVIDIA Corp. announced today that production studios Uncharted Territory and Scanline VFX relied on NVIDIA® Quadro® GPUs (graphics processing units) to deliver 30 minutes of staggering visual effects in the just-released blockbuster hit “2012”, which pulled in more than $xx million in box office receipts on its opening weekend.
