Dassault Systemes Accelerates Computer-Aided Engineering by Using NVIDIA GPUs

SANTA CLARA, CA (Marketwire) - Dassault Systèmes today announced that Abaqus 6.11 -- the new release of the leading unified finite element analysis (FEA) product suite from Dassault's SIMULIA brand -- leverages NVIDIA Quadro® and Tesla(TM) GPUs, coupled with CPUs, to run computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulations twice as fast as with CPUs alone.
