Part of the fun of being at
CES is getting to enjoy the wonderful Vegas nightlife. So we were pretty happy that we got invited to the
It Won't Stay In Vegas blogger party at the Atomic Testing Museum. Here's a quick summary of the night:
What? You
still need more details? Well, then, click on through...
The absolute best part about going to the parties is meeting our peers and our fans face to face. It's a good feeling when someone says "Wow, this table is literally my RSS feed come to life!" So before we say even one more word, thanks to Lisa who's occassionally with Huffington Post, Lori Cunningham at
Well Connected Mom, Scott and Lydia from
Chip Chick, Jeremy from
Digg, all the guys at
Hackaday, and from the picture above, Jinxie Malic, her nameless lady friend, and the third dimension of majesty himself, "Captain" Greg "Coonskin" Lockwood of
Media Whore Network. Every single one of you made our evening so much more worthwhile. Even if you did eat up all the food before we got there.
The cutthroat nature of bloggers was set aside for just one night, so that the hyenas of the internet could enjoy some fun and digital bonding. And there were even special guests! Two guys names Brent Spiner and LeVar Burton stopped in to say hello!
No, really, that's Brent Spiner and LeVar Burton. It's just that to get a picture from the front, you had to use their guy, and he hasn't yet sent us any images. We promise we'll share as soon as we hear anything. Watch this space!
Between the low lights, our constant networking, the really cool museum tour and the open bar, we didn't get too many pictures. But, come on, what possibly is there to say after a picture like this?
Bloggers of the world, thank you for your hospitality.
Our CES is going a little slower today, but give us a break! We've been really busy! Watch this space, we're not even done yet.
