Some days, deep plots and complex game play are the last thing you want in a game. Take a day like today, for example, when you've possibly been up since three o'clock in the morning due to the power and air conditioning in your apartment cutting out, trying to get a handyman to come fix it so that your eight month pregnant wife can sleep in something a little like comfort, even though the late night thrashings of your demon spawn have all but killed her dreams of ever being "comfortable" again.
Er, not that I'd know anything about that. At all. Nope.
So here's
Biolab Disaster, a quick little three stage platform shooter. You play a tiny guy in a Hazmat suit blasting beasts in a biolab where, coincidentally, there's been a disaster. It's not much more than a demo for an upcoming
HTML5 game engine, but its simple controls and decent soundtrack should help your slide down this side of the Hump Day hill go a little faster.
Of course, if you're one of those lucky souls that actually got a full night's sleep last night, you may want something with a bit more of
an old-school challenge. Just sayin'.
