Leave Cthulu Alone is nice in that it takes a different approach to the Lovecraftian myths. Generally in a game like this, you'd be hunting Cthulu. This time, you are Cthulu. See? That's you in the green!

 

 

You're waking up and trying to lay some cover fire for the purple-robed minon at the altar. Coming in the front door are some rude interlopers: police, detectives, and professors who are just begging to be driven mad. Hey, an Elder God's gotta do what an Elder God's gotta do.

 

 

Of course, if you're still a little too sleepy to keep up with everythingâ?¦ well, maybe a little more napping won't hurt a guy your age.

 

 

Try again in an aeon?

The graphic style of Leave Cthulu Alone is absolutely a throwback to the early days of computer games, but never so much that it gets annoying. It's not hard to swap between the four rooms, and if you're fast enough at the killing, you'll never even need to leave Room One. Plus haven't you always wanted to be on the winning side in this conflict? Cthulu's awakening, people. And when the big day comes, do you want to die screaming and insane, in terror on the streets? Or clean and quick in some rich guy's mansion?
